This is my gorgeous basset hound mix, Peanut. I took her photo, adhered it to a 4 x 4 canvas and painted details with cheap acrylics. Once dry, I coated it with a high gloss varnish. It is actually one in a series of 5 portraits. My children and I made a similar portrait of each family member and will give them to their Dad for Father's Day. I am hoping it will make him smile. Fun with Peanut
